‘How the Internet Causes Global Warming?’

KBO Earth held the 2^nd seminar “How the Internet Causes Global Warming?” on Saturday 6 October 2019.  Master Acharavadee Wongsakol, presiding the seminar, gave the opening speech together with honorable distinguished guest, General Veerachai Inthusobhon – the Foundation of the Promotion of Greenhouse Gas Emission Reduction.  Part of his opening speech, the foundation is determined to cooperate in the campaign to resolve the Global Warming issue.  He is pleased to work together with KBO Earth going forward.  We are grateful and motivated by his commitment.  The seminar was packed with attracted interested participating audiences.

The comprehensive knowledge of a toxic “innovation of digital data” was given in different perspectives from speakers in the seminar.  Dr. Kanokros Phalakornkul started with “the World’s Temperature is Rising with Cause and Effect”.  Her story was logical and so chronologically obvious that it is hard to deny that the digital data is indeed the accelerator of the Global Warming and adverse weather.  Following, Khun Peeraphong Chearanai talked about “the World in Digital Era and the Climate Crisis” with supporting evidences that the digital data bombarding the world is massive and how it is dangerous.

One of the highlights from the seminar is the discourse on “Artificial Intelligence and Global Warming” given by Professor Dr. Boonserm Kijsirijul.  It is hopeful that the way out of Global Warming caused by the innovation of digital data is possible.  In addition, Dr. Boonserm has shared a formula of the annual amount of millions of tons of Carbondioxide reduction due to the removal of useless digital data.  It is amazing!

What seems a big problem for this crisis is the “microwave” that carries information on the (wireless) internet, 3G, 4G, and 5G.  This includes all types of transponders flying around the globe to connect human’s lives together.  Let alone smartphones, there are billions of them all over.  What about accumulative signals of microwave in the atmosphere?  How powerful it has in damaging the climate?  It seems small but truly massive.  The topic “Microwave Radiation – Accelerator to Disaster” is conveyed by Lt. Pitak Tiranakul – a specialist of over 25 years in microwave, and packed with comprehensive and reasonable data.  If you had listened with your ears and seen with your eyes today, “Disaster” would probably be lesser.

The talk on final topic “Global Warming from Economist’s Perspective” is given by Khun Suparit Suwannik.  It is inevitable that natural disaster has negatively affected opportunities of human lives.  Their well-being is in jeopardy.  The more natural disasters, the more social inequality.  The Global Warming is increasing so much that it has become world economic problem because trading and world conservation is always contradictory.  However, Khun Suparit also advises possible solutions to this problem.
