Meeting of KBO Earth with “The Foundation for the Promotion of Greenhouse Gas Emission Reduction(P-GER)” On Friday 19 June 2020

The meeting topic is “Joint project between two organizations to reduce global warming”

The meeting was held at office of The Foundation for the Promotion of Greenhouse Gas Emission Reduction, Located at Department of Military Science, Bang Khen . Participants are

During first part of meeting, the general situation and the effects of the outbreak of COVID-19 were discussed, as we knew that caused the progress of all of both foundations to be disrupted such as lecture plans from various educational institutions and private sectors. After that the joint projects which can be worked together this year were discussed.

KBO Earth mentioned about research and experimental plans to support the KBO Earth campaign. Previously, in a recent meeting in March, the Foundation for the Promotion of Greenhouse Gas Emission Reduction showed special interest in The microwave test project, which will prove that digital data communication in the form of wireless communication can actually increase temperature of vapor in the air and also greenhouse gases. The Foundation for the Promotion of Greenhouse Gas Emission Reduction willing to join this project. Also there will be a microwave experts, Associate Professor Chanchai Thongsopha from Suranaree University to join this project. For KBO Earth site, there will be experts from various fields working with academic teams. The estimated project time will take around 6-10 months and will be able to start in the middle of July this year.

This microwave field test will be very useful for Thailand and this information will support the KBO Earth campaign very well. It can also be used in conjunction with data center ‘s energy consumption research project from Professor Dr. Boonserm Kijsirikul and Mr. Peeraphong Chearanai who are about to start researching this part to provide research information to support campaign of KBO Earth as well.

For other activities, it may have to wait until the outbreak situation of the “Covid-19 “ getting better before meeting for further action.
